Kellanova Senior Manager, Cultural and Inclusive Marketing in Chicago, Illinois

This Chicago-based role will empower our marketers to lead the next chapter of Kellanova’s growth by further equipping the team with knowledge, inspiration, and strategic expertise. Create holistic and inclusive brand experiences that will delight and nourish our rapidly evolving consumer base for generations to come. This role reports to the Senior Director of Consumer Experience Enablement and partners across marketing teams, sales teams, and agencies.

This role necessitates a strong ability to lead with influence. Internally, you will work closely with category marketing teams across all levels – from VP to ABM. You will also work occasionally with sales teams as needed to lead C&I capability. Externally, you will lead the agency relationship with our multi-cultural agency and work closely with all other agencies to embed C&I capability.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cultural and Inclusive(C&I) Capability – Support Cultural and Inclusive (C&I) capability in the category and sales teams through work across key initiatives including cultural compass, brand agility, ESG.

  • Relationship Building – Own relationship with multi-cultural agency and embed into agency model process/category C&I work (in partnership with category team).

  • Media Ops Support – Support media ops on multi-cultural integration into Joint Business Plans competitive reporting, diverse spend, etc.

  • C&I Initiatives Support – Voice of C&I initiatives for Kellanova centrally support select customer meetings and industry/trade initiatives with C&I content.

  • Inclusive Insights Integration – Build central capability for integration of multicultural & inclusive insights into the organization.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required; MBA preferred.

  • Individual must have ample amount of experience in marketing; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Previous experience in creating marketing, sales, or communication strategy is required.

  • The ability to effectively engage and interact with business unit, country, area leadership teams, and company executives is required.

  • Must be a champion of Cultural and Inclusive marketing.

  • Must be able to manage conflicting agendas and drive for objective, fact-based resolution of debates.
